The major problems include a decline in motor ability and physical activity, increased obesity, impaired cognition, rapid decline in body functions, and various psychological disorders. In this era of social isolation and quarantine, healthcare using modern technology is essential.  The increases in the older adult population have led to an emergency where novel and effective intervention strategies are necessary to improve physical activity behaviors and health in this population. 

VR exercise is a novel and innovative technology, which immerses individuals in a computer-generated, multi-sensory, three-dimensional world wherein they interact with the virtual environment using either a headset or exercise equipment. Virtual reality (VR) integrated exercise is a promising intervention strategy, which has been utilized in healthcare fields like stroke rehabilitation and psychotherapy. The application of VR exercise is to facilitate improved physical outcomes including enhanced motor ability, healthy body activities, healthy functioning of daily activities, improved cognitive abilities, and positive psychological outcomes. VR exercise has also been observed to be an effective intervention strategy for fall prevention in this population. VR integrated technology is currently used in a variety of health field areas, such as psychotherapy and stroke rehabilitation, and is effective in improving balance and overall health and promoting weight loss in older adults.VR has also been implemented within therapeutic programs for phobias related to height and public speaking, in which patients were immersed in an environment where they progressively worked on their fears.

People with ASD may behave, communicate, interact, and learn in ways that are different from most other people. There is often nothing about how they look that sets them apart from other people.  The abilities of people with ASD can vary significantly. For example, some people with ASD may have advanced conversation skills whereas others may be nonverbal. Some people with ASD need a lot of help in their daily lives; others can work and live with little to no support. People with ASD often have problems with social communication and interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. People with ASD may also have different ways of learning, moving, or paying attention. For people with ASD, these characteristics can make life very challenging. Early diagnosis and treatment becomes the prime factor when it comes to making the lives of ASD individuals better. 

The theme for 2022 World autism awareness day is providing Quality inclusive education for all. Children with autism have a right to be within inclusive classrooms. There are many benefits to having inclusive classrooms, including reducing the stigma surrounding autism, creating respectful relationships between all students within a classroom, teaching all students how to act positively with others, and increasing knowledge of autism. To best create an inclusive classroom, teachers should continue differentiating instruction, should teach to a student’s interests and needs, and should meet with family members of students with autism to better understand the needs of the child. All students can benefit from being in an inclusive classroom setting, and teachers often already implement teaching strategies that would best support a child with autism.
